Mission: we believe that God’s plan for us is to lead, happy, healthy and whole lives (John 10:10). It is our desire to help your home be that happy, healthy and whole place that God wants it to be. So we do our part by providing a fun and safe environment for your children to not only learn about God’s love, but EXPERIENCE it in every service.
Nursery (ages 0-3)
Our nursery is divided into 2 age zones:
Baby zone: this is for our littlest neighbors who need swings and bouncy seats and are maybe just learning to walk. They’ll hear stories about Jesus and God’s love and get lots of special attention.
Toddler zone: this area is for the “big” kids in the nursery (ages 2 &3). These little tykes can walk, talk, run and play and have a great time learning all the neat things about God and His love for them. A healthy snack is provided along with a fun, interactive lesson, and of course, there is some coloring time!
The nursery is open for check-in at 10:15 and closes 10 minutes after service ends.
Preschool (ages 4 & 5)
Church should be one of the happiest places on earth! And the 4 & 5 year old zone at A Neighborhood Church is probably the most active and fun place to be on a Sunday morning. Along with lots of hands-on playtime, there’s fun worship, interactive lessons and CRAFTS, CRAFTS, CRAFTS! Your preschooler will love their time here!
This preschool class is open for check-in at 10:15 and closes 10 minutes after service ends.
Kid’s Church (grades K-5)
Jesus said in John 10:3 that His sheep hear His voice and He calls them each by name and leads them. It is our goal in Kid’s Church to show your children God’s love for them and teach them how to hear the voice of the Shepherd so that they can follow Him and lead that happy, healthy and whole life that He intends for them to have.
At A Neighborhood Church we believe that growing up as a Believer should be fun! So we try to make each kid’s service fun and relevant and something that your kids will remember long after they’ve grown!
Because we feel that worshipping the Father should be a family experience, the children in this age group (grades K-5) remain in the adult service during the Praise and Worship portion of the service. Immediately following Praise and Worship, the children are prayed over and dismissed to the gymnasium where they have their own fun-filled service around God’s Word. Children are to be picked up at the gymnasium by their parent/guardian within 10 minutes of service closing.
